To
Yourself.
My work exists so that you may know yourself more deeply and live with greater alignment, ease, and love.
When we understand who we are beneath our patterns, we suffer less, relate more authentically, and make choices that feel good.
"Healing" is returning to a natural state of clarity, compassion, and connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us.

Hi, I'm Kate. I'm so glad you've landed here.

I am an authentic, sincere, heart-centered therapist. I create environments of safety through genuine curiosity. This is a space where clients are free to explore their whole selves- even the parts we keep hidden, the parts that carry shame, grief, fear, and existential dread - in a loving, kind container.

Finding a therapist can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I encourage you to trust your intuition on what you read here. Take a deep breath and feel into my offerings to see if they'd be a good fit for you.
I am a therapist who works holistically with mind, body, and spirit. I believe that personal growth, expansion, and healing are attainable for everyone. Together we will work towards you becoming your most authentic and aligned self so that you can live a life that feels joyful and fulfilling.
When clients work with me we utilize a range of techniques and modalities that bring in thoughts and cognitions as well as bodily responses and soul-level work. I help clients to achieve their goals in this way. It is my greatest joy to help clients find more beauty and love in their lives. My hope for everyone is that they are living a life that they actually love, and that often begins with self-acceptance and self-love.
I offer a range of services including Individual and Couples Therapy, motherhood, pregnancy, and postpartum groups, specializations in ADHD, and psychedelic therapy with legal and natural medicines. My sessions are designed to create a kind and nurturing environment where you can explore holistic healing and find harmony and joy in your life.
"At Kate Pauley Therapy, we are committed to providing a warm and inviting space for our clients to explore the depths of their beings and expand into exactly who they want to be. Our mission is to empower individuals to become their most authentic selves and find joy in their lives."

A Whole Person Approach
Where Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Therapy
I believe healing happens when we treat the whole person—mind, body, nervous system, relationships, and inner world.

My work blends the strengths of Western psychology and modern neuroscience with ancient and Eastern healing traditions that have long understood the intelligence of the body, the power of altered states, and the role of meaning, ritual, and connection in healing.

From a Western lens, I am deeply grounded in evidence-based psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and nervous system regulation. From an ancient and Eastern perspective, I honor practices that work beyond words—expanded states of consciousness, somatic awareness, mindfulness, ceremony, and the body’s innate capacity to heal when given the right conditions.

Rather than choosing one approach over another, I weave them together thoughtfully - Insight without embodiment often falls short. Spiritual experiences without integration can feel ungrounded. True healing happens in the meeting place—where science, wisdom, and lived experience inform one another.

This integrative approach allows us to move beyond symptom management toward deeper, more sustainable change—supporting not just relief, but reconnection, resilience, and alignment with who you truly are.

Services
Individual Therapy
One-on-one therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and personal growth. Sessions are grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care and nervous system regulation. Modalities include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness-Based Techniques, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT)

Couples Therapy
Relational therapy for couples seeking deeper connection, improved communication, and healing of longstanding patterns. I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) which is the most effective, evidenced based practice for couples.

Psychedelic Preparation & Integration Therapy
Therapy to support clients before and after psychedelic experiences, including ketamine-assisted therapy and other legal or ceremonial contexts. Focused on safety, intention, and integration.

Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAP)
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy combines the use of ketamine with therapeutic support to help individuals access deeper emotional processing. Ketamine can temporarily reduce rigid thought patterns, creating an opportunity for increased insight and flexibility. Preparation and integration sessions help translate these experiences into lasting therapeutic change.

Groups & Workshops
Ongoing groups and workshops focused on community, growth, and integration—offered for individuals, mothers, parents, and therapists.

My Story
For several years, I worked as a traditional talk therapist—supporting meaningful growth for my clients while also doing my own deep personal work in therapy. And yet, I began to notice something familiar: despite insight, awareness, and solid tools, true transformation often felt just out of reach. The patterns were clear. The understanding was there. But the deeper beliefs—the ones that shape how we are—weren’t shifting.

That realization led me to explore psychedelic therapy for myself.
In one powerful weekend—sitting in ceremony both with my partner and individually—my relationship, my inner world, and my way of being fundamentally changed. The shifts were not fleeting. They were embodied, lasting, and deeply orienting.

From that moment on, both my life and my work transformed. I returned to therapy not only with new insight, but with a deeper trust in inner wisdom and the healing potential of expanded states of consciousness. My approach evolved to meet clients not just in understanding—but in true, lived change.
